Scott Helms has been a Registered Piano Technician member of the Piano Technicians Guild since 1998.  He started his piano technology career in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he lived for 10 years before moving to Arizona in 2006. He has serviced pianos for The Nash, Tempe Center for the Arts, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Arizona School for the Arts, Xavier College Preparatory Academy, Phoenix College, and in homes and churches throughout the Phoenix metro area. He received his training through the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology and numerous Piano Technicians Guild seminars and technical institutes. He is a Dampp-Chaser humidity control system field expert and a Yamaha Disklavier service technician. In addition to his work as a piano technician, Scott plays piano, organ, and trumpet, and serves as a substitute organist for many churches in the area. He also enjoys composing and arranging music, and his music has been performed in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Arizona, Washington, and Florida.
